2-1-1 Texas is a program that helps Texans find the services they need. Just dial 2-1-1 or visit the website to find up-to-date information from more than 60,000 state and local programs.

To use the Texas 2-2-1 website:

  1. Go to:
  2. Type in your “Need.”
  3. Enter your “Location.”
  4. Click “Search.”

The following search terms will help you get the best results.

Parent Support

  • Finding a parenting class (parenting classes, parenting)
  • Finding someone who knows about parenting to come to my house (Home-based parenting education)
  • Finding short-term child care in an emergency (respite)
  • Finding services for my special-needs child (services for special needs, disability services)
