​DFPS SAFETY PLAN FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE

In response to an increase in deaths of children in DFPS legal custody in 2013, including deaths due to abuse in neglect, DFPS has developed a safety plan to address concerns about the safety of foster care and kinship placements and to prevent more tragedies.
