TEXAS FOSTER YOUTH TRANSITION CENTERS
Transition centers serve the many needs of older youth, ages 15½ to 25, who are aging out or have aged out of foster care.

The centers serve as central locations for services such as PAL, employment readiness, job search classes and help, exploring job options, and mentoring. Some centers provide many other services such as substance abuse, mental health counseling, housing assistance, and leadership training.

These centers are funded and supported by a partnership between DFPS and their providers, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Casey Family Programs.
