Jason Williams

Jason Williams has faithfully served as Mills County Commissioner in Goldthwaite, TX, since 2011. He currently holds the esteemed position of Vice President of the Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards (TCCWB) and serves as President of both the Region 7 board and his local board. In 2021, Mr. Williams played a pivotal role in revitalizing his county’s child welfare program.

Mr. Williams has been happily married to his wife, Shelley, for 30 years. Together, they are blessed with four children and one grandchild. He is a proud graduate of Tarleton State University, holding a bachelor’s degree, and was a successful business owner for over 15 years prior to his tenure as County Commissioner. A dedicated public servant, Mr. Williams is deeply committed to his work, despite the challenges it may present. In his personal time, he cherishes moments spent with his family, enjoys hunting, and takes great pride in working on his family’s ranch.
