Diane Anderson-Glover presently holds the respected position as President of the Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards. She also serves as the President on both the Region 8 Board, and her local welfare board, and is on numerous committees.
In 2017, Diane joined her local child welfare board, directly following her retirement as a 911 Telecommunications Operator from the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office where she held the Certificate Level of Master Telecommunicator and Trainer.
In 2019 Diane was tasked by TCCWB to help re-instate the Region 8 Council of CWB’s, which had been inactive for several years. She was nominated to serve as the President by her peers and continues to serve in that position. Her region is very active and covers 28 counties in the greater San Antonio area.
In late 2019 Diane and her husband Brett took on raising one of their granddaughters, who came to live with them just before her 2nd birthday. Diane and Brett have a large, blended family of 6 children, 15 grandchildren, a new great-granddaughter and a second great-grandchild due in June 2025.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys spending time with family, quilting, sewing, and numerous other crafts.
