Region 11 Representative
TCCWB Secretary
Jennifer Kremer-Oliva was born and raised in a small town in Germany and came to the United States as a young teen. She spent her high school years in San Antonio, Texas, before moving to Corpus Christi to attend Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Shortly after relocating, she married her husband, Gabriel.
Jennifer and Gabe are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where both have served in numerous leadership roles within the youth program.
Inspired by her family’s adoption journey, Jennifer joined the Nueces Child Welfare Foundation in 2016 after she and Gabe began the process of adopting their son. They joyfully welcomed David into their family through adoption in September 2016.
Jennifer currently serves as Director of the Heart Gallery of South Texas, a program of Foster Angels of South Texas (FAST), where she leads regional efforts to raise awareness of children in foster care who are waiting to be adopted. She is also the former President of the Nueces Child Welfare Foundation and continues to remain actively involved with the organization. In addition, Jennifer serves on the Nueces County Child Welfare Board, the Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards, and the DFPS Regional Child Death Review Team.
Previously, Jennifer was deeply involved in her son’s school community, serving as PTA President, Council PTA President, and as a member of both the Corpus Christi ISD District Advisory Team and Strategic Planning Team.
When she’s not advocating for children and families, Jennifer enjoys traveling back to her home country of Germany and spending as much time as possible at the lake and the beach with her loved ones.
