Setareh Ghaznavi
Committee Liaison
Setareh brings a community-driven, people-centered approach to her role as TCCWB Committee Liaison, shaped by her work advancing mental health education, advocacy, and systems collaboration across Central Texas. At NAMI Central Texas, she helped expand access to mental health resources, strengthen volunteer and community engagement, and increase organizational visibility through strategic communication and partnership-building.
A key impact of Setareh's work has been translating complex systems into accessible, actionable support—particularly for families, schools, and youth-serving organizations. By developing responsive educational programming and fostering cross-sector collaboration, she contributed to stigma reduction, early intervention efforts, and stronger community connections. Her work consistently bridged strategy and implementation, ensuring initiatives were both mission-aligned and sustainable.
This experience translates seamlessly to TCCWB's collaborative, statewide work. Setareh brings strengths in relationship-building, clear communication, and systems thinking, along with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and family well-being. Currently completing a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, she integrates clinical insight with advocacy and organizational leadership to support committees in advancing shared goals and improving outcomes for children and families across Texas.
