Comprehensive training and orientation for Child Welfare Board members is necessary for a successful and effective partnership between the Board, CPS and the community. The local CWB is encouraged to work with the local CPS liaison and TCCWB to obtain ongoing training to gain further understanding of CPS and the role of the Board.
